I've used BIAB since its inception (1989)..... The studio time saved, and money made for me as a producer, enabled me to concentrate on my steel guitar related endeavours and was UNDOUBTEDLY a contributory factor to my nomination and induction.

So Peter and team, I applaud you and thank you from the Heart of my ... sorry, bottom of my Heart..

Way to go Basil. Yes I agree Biab and Pts and now Real Band allows the musician to concentrate more on his craft which is so important. I applaud any musician who has spent many long hard unpaid hours honing is instrument. I takes guts and dedication to whatever the future may bring.
Looks like yours will be bright.

Please post some of your work.

Congrats.

SUPER ACCOMPLISHMENT – CONGRATULATIONS

The bumper sticker said "I'm a veterinarian, therefore I can drive like an animal".
Suddenly I realized how many proctologists are on the road.

Wow, just great Basil. I see this is only your fifth post, where have you been, buddy? I know, it's obvious where you've been, you've been working your butt off and getting ahead in the world. Congratulations.
Another example of how there are so many pro's all over the world who know all about Biab and have used it for years. There's a relatively small regular group here on this forum and sometimes it feels like hmmm, I wonder just how many people there are who regularly use these programs? I have a good friend who is a music teacher and been using Biab forever but has no interest at all in visiting the forum in spite of my recommendations. I did get him to upgrade to the new Real Tracks though.

Thanks for the kudos friends, It's just amazing how many forums are helping the understanding between nations and creeds..

I'm oft tempted to post on USA and Canadian forums and sometimes do, BUT with reticence as (For me at least) the "Trans-Atlantic Syndrome" rears its ugly head and flame wars across the pond erupt.
In many forums I'm known for my 'Vitriolic Pen' It has now been permanently (hopefully) sheathed as my responsibilities as a 'Goodwill Ambassador' for the ESGHoF demand a more down to earth and less condescending approach methinks.
After one of my posts Bobbe Seymour coined this beauty, "Two Nations separated by a common language" Hopefully not so here..
Again thanks you so much, and believe me when I say that BIAB HAS been most useful to me in my professional career.

Well done, Basil! Not only are you now an ambassador for ESGHoF (and quite rightly deserved) but also a shining public example to others of the PG software! I salute you, Sir! Cheers!

Many thanks Sam, I'm trying to envisage just which of your MANY accents this post is made in !!

Mmmmm the mind boggles....Vocal backing Realtrax in BIAB with accents of Adge Cutler, Joe Brown, Joseph Locke, Andy Stewart.. Julie Andrews !!!

I have been told I overdo it sometimes with my accents - more Elvis than Elvis, more Dylan than Dylan, more Denver than Denver. Its the songs, you know. When I've learned a song from the original, I've usually ended up learning the accent as well!

But I think the language I used in this one gives it away... It's my own!

Just found an Album I recorded in 1990 using BIAB..

I use BIAB for the foundation of commercial recording work that I do and I have done so since it's inception in 1989.
THIS album was produced/engineered/arranged/played most instruments by myself in 1990.
USING BIAB, a sound canvas Casio PG-380 midi guitar and whatever was in my sitting room in the way of recording equipment.

The Spanish Night is over
Blue Ridge Mountain Girl
Come Home to Belfast Town
Somebody Lied
Ramblin' Rose
Makin' Believe
The Band Played an Old Time waltz
Be Nobody's Darlin' but Mine
Island in the Sun
Funny Familiar Medley
Just enough to Keep me Hangim' on
Ol' What's His Name
Just a Closer Walk With Thee
Just as Long as You Love Me

Superb Singer from the Irish Showband Scene Roly Daniels.

i have never met the psg player or seen his guitars. in fact, he, leonard macdonald of nova scotia, canada died shortly afterward. the cd album was an international collaboration all done on the internet. l&b waltz was len's original tune and it was recorded on the first take, warts and all. there are many musicians from several countries represented and none of us have met in person, except my son, of course.
thanks for your kind comments.
