The first thought that jumped into my mind was to wonder if you had installed BIAB properly. Are you running BIAB from your computer's hard drive or have you installed it elsewhere?

Also, have you tried opening an existing song to see what happens?

One thing to try... with either the program's startup shortcut or the BBW.EXE file in the program folder (x:\bb)...

1. right-click on the file

2. choose 'Properties'

3. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, select "Run as administrator"

Does this make a difference?
