Are you asking specifically the number of styles, or the number of RealTracks?

Styles are just a collection of RealTracks instrumenta (and/or MIDI tracks) to make up a "band", if you will. And for a style to play properly, you need to have available all the RealTracks/RealDrums available in that style.

The current MegaPak comes with more than 460 RealTracks; the UltraPlusPak comes with over 2200 RealTracks.

Someone with either the current Mega- or UltraPlusPak would need to answer how many specific styles they have, but even there, the numbers vary, since there have been special offerings over the years that can include styles not offered later. Also, the new XTRA styles packs (XTRAPak1 had 164 styles; XTRAPak2 had 161 styles; XTRAPak3 had 160 styles) are a separate purchase. There are literally thousands of styles in the UltraPlusPak; I don't believe there are thousands of styles in the MegaPak (but there could be - just think of how many combinations of 5 instruments you can make with over 460 instruments available, but they wouldn't all sound good together).

What question is it that you are trying to answer? If you are just looking to upgrade, I highly recommend the UltraPlusPak, given that you currently have the the MegaPak. Whenever 2018 comes it, I suspect it will have some of the new RealTracks in it, but I don't believe it will the new RealTracks in it. The UltraPlusPak gives you the most content for your money.

And since you already have the MegaPak, you'll get an upgrade price for the UltraPlusPak (which will be significant once the 2018 sale kicks in - usually just prior to Christmas).

Don't know if that helped any.
