Johnny,

Thanks for the added information.

From what I can see in the first post of yours, BIAB is very, very confused. ST2 files for the Realtracks do not appear to be where they should be and I also find myself wondering if some RTs are expected to be in one location and other RTs in a second location. If that's the case, BIAB cannot accommodate this.

While it's possible to move Realtrack and Realdrum folders, it's not possible to move other files. Also, both RTs and RDs have associated files that MUST be present in \bb in version 2015.

Did you install BIAB and then move files to try and tidy up the directory structure? (I could well be wrong, but this is what is seems like me.) Unfortunately, BIAB does not allow a user to change file locations because there are many files (with version 2015) the MUST reside in \bb for the program to work properly. While version 2018 of the program has an automatic 'tidy up' routine that unclutters \bb, again default directories must be used because files are put where BIAB expects to find them when the program runs.

If this was my problem, I'd actually start from the beginning and reinstall everything. It will be time consuming but it is the best way to get things up and running with all the files put into their correct locations.

If you are running the program from F:\bb, there doesn't seem to be anything gained by having the Realtrack and Realdrums installed in a separate directory on the F: drive. Why not let them be put in their default location of F:\bb\Realtracks and F:\bb\Drums? The same amount of space on the F: drive is used and from BIAB's perspective, it's a much cleaner installation.

REGARDING THE BELOW SOLUTION
Please keep in mind that I am not PG Music staff. Your problem appears to be complex and I cannot see an easy way to fix it. If you contact Support they may have an alternative to to what I'd do to solve this.

What I'd do...

1. Save any important user files that I created that are present in F:\bb and F:\Realband.

2. Under "Help | Utilities", deactivate BIAB.

3. Start Realband and deactivate this also.

4. Delete the present installation after saving those user files. There's no need to save any PG Music files because these will be reinstalled

5. Install a full, brand new version of the original 2015 BIAB onto drive F: using the default directories (i.e. F:\bb and F:\Realband). (Do not try to shortcut this by installing the minimal installation.)

6. Use the default paths for Realtracks and Realdrums.

7. Install all bonus/additional material (if any) that was purchased with 2015.

8. Once version 2015 is installed, make sure that BIAB runs by right-clicking on the shortcut and selecting "Run as administrator". (This is not really needed but it is something I'd test.)

NOTE: BIAB and Realband always need to be started by selecting the option "Run as administrator".

9. Once 2015 is fully installed, I estimate that it will take around an hour or so, install version 2018 straight over the top of version 2015 into F:\bb.

It is standard practice to install newer versions of the program directly on top of older, existing versions.

10. For the installation of 2018, ACCEPT ALL DEFAULT PATHS so that Realtracks and Realdrums are put in F:\Realtracks and F:\Drums respectively. This will put them with the already-installed RTs and RDs from 2015. THIS IS IMPORTANT.

11. Once installed (another hour or so), startup BIAB using right-click and selecting "Run as administrator".

Regards,
Noel
