Beginning last night, I am getting 4 warnings EVERY TIME I Regenerate.
I was on 508 (2018) when it began, so I downloaded and installed 509. Shut down and rebooted. (Windows 7). bbw.exe is set to run as administrator.
Still happens. Switching styles does not change that. Creating a new song doesn't change it.
The messages are:
Warning: You current drum kit has no bass drum note assigned. Warning: You current drum kit has no snare drum note assigned. Warning: You current drum kit has no closed high hat note assigned. Warning: You current drum kit has no open high hat note assigned.
I also get these messages when I close the program (right before it closes).
The message must apply to midi drums I think. Have you inadvertently assigned a odd or non GM midi drum kit or map. See Options / Preferences / Drum kits. Mike
I did not change anything in that screen (I use RealTracks and RealDrums almost exclusively)... but looking at that screen ALL of the drums (notes) are set to 0...
Yes my mapping was the default. Not certain how yours got cleared ?? I guess set to factory defaults would have repaired it . but I did not want you to have to set all your midi and audio drivers ,soft synths an stuff up again as it could have given you a headache getting things back to how you like them. Anyway if that has worked for you they are the GM ones and suit things like the Coyote wave table etc. Mind you if you always use real drums it would not have effected you any way, Just an annoyance, Have fun Mike
I wonder if after those values got zeroed, if it might have popped up (even when using RealDrums) because of the underlying MIDI style that was used as the basis for the RealStyle.
