Yes, that's right, at the moment we can only address one MIDI synth at a time. So the synth must be multitimbral, or able to play different patches at the same time in order to accomodate all the instruments in the song.

While the ability to address multiple MIDI Outputs has been on the BIAB Wishlist for some time now, we haven't been given that ability to date.

There are workarounds for the consummate MIDIOTs among us, using software "virtual midi cables" that run outside of BIAB and allow for routing by the program and by the channel from within BB. It takes time to set this up for each session, though. Not usually worth the bother.

I think Russ used RB for that sax piece, not BB. RB and PT can address multiple MIDI outputs easily from inside the programs.
