... but in reality, the very very hard part in actually playing wah wah well is in synchronising the movement of the pedal to the ebb and flow of the notes and chords in a musical way (as well as knowing when NOT to move the pedal at all). The "auto-wah" type VSTs are often very unmusical because they rely on mathematical algorithms to apply wah to the incoming signal and they end up sounding stiff and unmusical.
