Here is my latest song written with the help of BIAB 2017 Ultra Plus Pack.
I originally wrote the song back in 1994 and I was happy with the lyrics but not with the music, so I decided to rewrite it with completely different music which seems to have worked quite well with only a few alterations to the lyrics.

Apart from the vocals and electric guitars, I utilised the following acoustic instruments from the PFPBTMW.STY

Drums: Nashville WaltzSw^a:Sidekick:Hhat,b:Snare,Ride
Bass: 1122 CountryWaltz sw 110
Piano: 1701 Rhythm CountryWaltz sw 110
Guitar 2054 FgPkng CountryWaltzBrent sw 110
Guitar 826 FgPkng CountryWaltz sw 110

Very nice Andy! Such a pretty song and sound! Great job of carving out a place in the mix for your vocal! It's not easy to do sometimes with a heavily processed sound like lead vocal has, but it sounds excellent! Guitar starting at 2:25 was lovely also! Thanks, Torrey

You've certainly delivered a very masterfully mixed production here.

The vocals sit within the song really perfectly.

The arrangement is haunting and superb.

Very beautiful folk waltz, 60's mood bringing some Brian Wilson vibes, nice ethereal mix. Excellent vocals.

I love the ethereal atmosphere of this one Andy; very hypnotic. The outro guitar work is just so right. An excellent job all round!

Cool song and sound!! Love the chord changes....what are the first 2 chords? Interesting intervals! Wonderful melody and harmonies. I hear a real Moody Blues vibe in this. Great work!! Take care. Greg

Andy,
A hypnotic mood you`ve created here - very nice vocal( and harmonies). The arrangement has space in it which suits the song and the guitar part at the close is lovely.
Reminds me of the Floyd/Moody Blues era.
Very cool music!

Thanks for your kind comment Greg, and everyone elses too.

The first two guitar chords are probably called Dsus2 and C-add2, but I'm no expert on naming chords.
The first chord is basically a simple D chord with the first string open (ie. DADE).
The second chord is a simple C chord, but with D instead of C on the second string (ie. CEGDE).

When I play the song fingerstyle on solo acoustic guitar, I use a capo on the 5th fret and play A5 (AEGB£) followed by G6 (GBDGDE) chord shapes.

I played around with a few waltz styles before sticking with the PFPBTMW one. I love that double bass, and it really makes the song sound special, in my opinion.

Andy, this is just really well done. "Hypnotic" was used above and I agree, definitely had me entranced. Excellent job!
