Edit - oops didn't see Kent's post - as Kent said you can install over top and not keep your older ones, but if you DO want to keep them then you can.

Aside from the disk space used, there is no problem with having multiple Band-in-a-Box installations on your computer. For example, you could have a folder C:\bb2016 for version 2016 and a folder C:\bb2018 for the latest version and each will be happily self-contained within it's own folder. So you could duplicate your bb2016 folder to bb2018, and install Band-in-a-Box 2018 there. You only need to download RealTracks sets 255 and higher since you have the earlier ones already.

This should work fine if you want to save space - you could have one RealTracks folder, and you can point Band-in-a-Box to that folder by setting the Custom folder location in the RealTracks Preferences.
