Noel, what you said is true however in the guitar world add 11 is quite common. Cadd11 and Gadd11 are two common ones that are used a lot. Folk players use these a lot. They may resolve to a triad or they may resolve to the IV chord. so what would you enter in biab, if anything, to get the software to play the intended sound for the Gadd11 and Bbadd11 I use MIDI. That way I can get any chord or chord voicing that I want. You are limited to what RTs give you unless you have a polyphonic version of Melodyne. I do have it but I still prefer to use MIDI. I have Melodyne Editor so I can change or delete any note in an RT track. You can do the same with a monophonic track and a less expensive Melodyne. Note that I use my DAW to do this. You may or may not be able to do this in BiaB. Others will have to chip in on this.
I get most of my exercise these days from shaking my head in disbelief.
