I have an issue with the last measure of a song file. The last measure will not ring out no matter what I do. All instruments play on the first beat and stop. I am trying to have them ring out through the last measure but nothing I do is working. I no how to hold notes within a measure but it simply will not work. Any thoughts. Patch is HEPNO85/pop ballad with held piano. I also switched the pinao to 2870:piano,acoustic,celtic Air Dave EV085 and the drums were switched to Nashville brushes ballad push ev16 and it still does not work. Any thoughts? Thanks Rich

Do you have the 'end' bar of the song set so that it's about 4-6 bars past where you want the song to end? (i.e. give it time to ring out?)
Also, I notice in Realtrack picker that RT 2870 uses Holds 375. When I had a look at the folder for 375, there are only shots available in it at the moment. I imagine that PG Music are working on a library of holds for the latest Realtracks. If I am recalling correctly, this is happened a couple of times in the past where Realtracks first become available and then shots and holds are added shortly after.
I haven't tried the below so I have no idea if it will work. It looks like it should be possible, though.
The basic aim is to find a piano sound that you know has holds with it and to assign the Holds value for that Realtrack into the setting for the Realtrack that currently does not have a hold.
To find the number for the hold in Realtrack picker...
1. Expand the 'Holds' column so that number display in full. To expand a column, click on the right edge of the column in the header row and drag it to the right.
Image 1 below shows the hold number for RT2870.
2. Hold files are found under...
....bb\Realtracks\Library
To change the Holds # for a Realtrack, follow the below.
1. Follow numbers 1, 2, 3 on Image 2 (below) to open the Soloist generator and select the required Realtrack.
2. Enter into the Soloist Maker "Edit" (#4) and then select "More" (#5).
3. Check the the correct Realtrack is selected (#6).
4. Update the "Holds" number (#7).
Let us know how you go!
Regards, Noel

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. House cleaning duties today. I did as you suggested and not only did it work for the piano but it fixes all the tracks. I assume the piano issue prevented the other tracks from holding properly. You are a genius. Thanks a bunch Rich

Can this be done with real drums as well? this is still an issue. Held the first time but now it will not. I cannot find a way to access the h column in real drums. Thanks again

I'm glad it worked. That's excellent!
Just to clarify, what hold number did you end up using for the piano?
In relation to the drums...
Drums can only really give a single hit. This means that a hold would need to be on a drum that has a slow sound decay time. I'm not sure what BIAB does here. I know that in the txt file that's in the folder of each Realdrum, there is a section at the end that's devoted to shots. I suspect that this also covers holds.
This is a problem that's beyond my understanding and is definitely one for Kent. I suspect he will read your post over the next couple of days. He's been very active on the forum in recent times.
In the meantime, have you tried returning to factory settings? (Under Options) That's always something that I do when BIAB stops doing what it used to.
Before you reset, though, make sure you save your present preferences (that is also found under Options).
The Drums track will treat shots and holds pretty much the same way. Most RealDrums will have a few hits recorded for shots/holds, and will switch them up each time you regenerate.
Assuming the song is pretty much written, I'd recommend regenerating the Drums track until you get the hit you want, then freezing it.
