Reminds me of a mural in a local restaurant that has Jimmy Buffet playing a Les Paul guitar with a Fender Headstock.

Come to think of it, the logo doesn't really matter. I love the way the program functions. And it's perfect for what I've done so far.

I think it matters a lot. I commented on the change of logo a few years ago. All of a sudden the human beings in the PGMusic art were all gone, and i thought it detracted from the overall look and feel quite a bit. The earlier logos had a distinct and recognizable personality. The new logos were plain and predictable.
What happened? Did they lose their artist? Did some copyright issue come up? I never got a response. Not any of my business, really. I am interested in making music, mostly. But something has been lost.

I have heard a lot of folks say that BiaB is a toy, and most of the time the "cartoonish look" of the program is a main comment......but when they hear what it can do (especially with the Real Tracks) they start to LIKE the look...  ...go figure....

Yes, to most of the hard core BIAB folks here, the logo is not a deal breaker. BUT.....there are many people who look at the logo and make a decision that the program looks toy like. I vote for changing the GUI, which still does look toy like. But it's still my "Go to" program after all these years!

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
