I'd just like to thank Peter Gannon and the entire BIAB staff for creating and supporting a software product that has brought me countless hours of enjoyment over so many years. This is more than a piece of software, it's a lifestyle hobby. Even hack jazz guitarists like me can learn and every now and then get the feeling that we are getting it. And I don't know how many use BIAB to just listen to, but with the latest sounds and real tracks, it's like having a personalized jazz combo playing in the living room. This is one great product, so thanks again, and have a great holiday season!

This product saved my musical life. I've gotten to the point that I don't get along with anyone except the players in Real Band.

My drummer isn't changing tempo and the bass player never seems drunk.

I noticed that baseball thing in a lot of bands, the bases are loaded.

To paraphrase an ad for a guitarist in the local alternative paper: "Must have professional equipment, reliable transportation, and a watch." I'd say BIAB fits the bill. At least it's as reliable as I am.

Seriously, I'd like to add my note of gratitude. I am a better musician for having BIAB. It has allowed me to create music which I could not have otherwise. It has helped me create music I never would have thought of otherwise, by suggesting things that have taken me in a direction I would never have gone on my own. The accumulated intelligence and (occasionally, I swear) sense of humor contained in this remarkable package are sometimes astonishing, a word I do not use lightly. It has challenged me to work on my instrument to the point that I have become closer to being the musician I have dreamed of being for most of my life.

Humble thanks and a tip of the virtual hat to Peter and the PG team.

Merry Christmas, y'all!

Richard

I've gotta agree with everything said above. I gave up playing music over 20 years ago, and if it wasn't for BIAB I probably would never have played again. But it's now such a huge part of my life thanks to this product.
Thanks Team PG, and let's not forget to thank the Beta testers too.

Cheers,
Keith

hahah John, you are a hoot.

Maybe Notes Norton can create a style that simulates a band in which the drummer is on amphetamines, the bass player is drunk, the guitar player is out of tune, the keyboard player failed to show up, the sax player is on a different song altogether, and the (insert musician of preference) is trying his best to hold it together. It would remind us all of at least one reason why we love this program...

It's sort of like "who's on first", no matter how many times I hear this it cracks me up!

I've said it before but ditto to all above . . . now if I could only keep my half a$$ed live guitar player and singer in line we'd really cook!

Loved it, very very funny. Sounded like someone was occasionally swinging a cat by the tail in the mix.
