Hi Keith
I've noticed this quite a bit with both 2009 and 2010. I now have to check the dates of files to make sure I am opening the right one. I appreciate that there was a distinction in the past between songs with and without melodies, hence the need for different extensions, but perhaps it might be best now to have a single unified file extension? Or perhaps, as Sonar does, the programme could warn you if your saving procedure will result in a different file extension? Perhaps that could be a suggestion for a warning box?
