Hey Bob

Thanks for the ideas.

First off, get this off my chest shocked

I use BIAB on a Mac and there is no Real Band or anything similar. Boooooo!
We pay the same price, why dont we get the same stuff!! (And I dont want to hear about RB being based on some ancient Windows app that isn't available for a Mac, heck we (Mac users) havent even got hyperlinks in the PDF manual!).

I will get off my soap box now smile

So using some of the options to 'build it yourself' are not open to me.

As for BIAB being a more generic tool rather than something to play close replicas of well known songs. Well maybe 10 years ago that was true, but now for sure, my expectation is to use it to play along to something that sounds authentic. Not so much for gigging but certainly for preparing/practicing/rehearsing for a gig before the full band get together. This is not a complaint about BIAB. I actually quite enjoy trying to piece together something that get close to an original great song. It certainly gives me a much deeper understanding of the songs and how they are formed.

Maybe loops is the way forward for the little bits that BIAB doesnt provide. I havent done anything with loops before so that will be another interesting adventure smile

If you have any suggestions on using loops I would love to hear them.

Thanks
Mark

If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all...
