I am a newbee to BIAB. i have made some great tracks with real tracks and real drums.. since you have been at it a while maybe you could help me... i have noticed that when I create a song with real drums and tracks..(only).. I hear a loud click or loud noise just when the song ends...... i wasnt sure what caused that or how to get rid of it...i record my
tracks and use MP3 version of them out live.. after i record the songs i have to always edit out that last loud click or what ever it is in my Easy Media sound editor program... the sound comes in right when the song winds down and ends.. not sure if i explained it correctly...thanks
i have also muted all the tracks and still get the noise..

I have had the same issue, and if I want to save the audio use Audacity to take out the what I called spurious click, and sometimes a sucking noise after the thing is done. These things often are sorted out as soon as the development team makes a new release.

I haven't noticed that in BIAB 2010.

Which version are you using, big rich?

Cheers,
Mike

Does it just happen with certain styles, or all RT styles you record in?

I also find 'clicks' at the end of some RD tracks but not all - particularly when using my main editor PT.
I just clean them off with a manual edit. Perhaps the best thing to do - if you remember to identify the RD or RT number - and I don't always remember - send it PG for their future fixes.

Best - Ian

Try Prefs->Countin and turn off the audible stick tap. Invoke the Visual Countin in Upper Right corner.

This has been a longstanding bug and that is the way I work around it on live gigs.

PGMusic development has been informed and hopefully they can come up with the cure this time around.

Of course, I had to learn with a little practicing to put my eyes on the upper right corner of the bb screen after hitting Play and get ready to menatally count in with the visual numbers, but the overall result to audience is much better anyway IMO, no annoying stick tap, the music just seems to start from their viewpoint.

If making recordings, use an audio editor like Audacity on the tails and clean 'em up.
