Greetings, I was wondering if anyone is having a problem like I am with dragging the tracks in RB into Cakewalk? I also tried to drag them to my desktop and that would not work either. Any thoughts?

Hi RickeG.
It's very simple ... start a new audio project in Sonar ... an empty one. Minimize your BIAB ... then click onto the RT/RD you want to copy in your Sonar DAW. I just tried that a bit ago and it works perfectly. Drag the BIAB RT's into the empty space where the audio track controls normally are displayed. Voila ... just takes a few seconds and your BIAB Real (whatever) will be there.
Worked great for me.

Its a little different in RB. Go into DAW mode and then click on the little box that contains the track number and drag it over to Sonar. You will see the mouse pointer change when you are on the sweet spot.

Yea you've got to drag the track number on the far left. Also when you click on the plug icon take a look at the options as well to make sure they're set for what you want.

I will give that a try. Honestly, I clicked everything but that little track number. Ok, that is the trick for RB. Forgive me for asking this question. I should look this up in the user manual. But since it was mentioned here how am I able to see the tracks on BIAB? All I see is the chord window. And I checked under the Window drop down menu and there is nothing there. I have not found how to access indivdual tracks in BIAB as I have in RB.

Well, BiaB is different. While you can view audio in the Audio Edit window, or view MIDi in the PianoRoll or the Notation View, there is no "Tracks" view inside BiaB.
Actually, that's what RB is for.
If both programs did everything identically, what would be the point of having the two different programs?
