Nachdem ich mittlerweile mehrfach vergeblich versucht habe, direkt vom PGMUSIC Support eine Auskunft zu erhalten, versuche ich es jetzt hier im Forum.
Ich verwende 1.) ein E-MU 1820 ASIO Interface mit eigener DSP.32 Ein-/Ausgänge, alle z. B. über CUBASE oder MAGIX SAMPLITUDE einzeln anwählbar. Ganz aktuell auch noch ein brandneues ZOOM LiveTrak L-12 mit 8 Mono- und 2 Stereokanälen. Auch alle Kanäle in obigen Prg. anwählbar.
In REALBAND herrscht jedoch Chaos!!!
Obwohl in der Audioeinstellung ASIO und der jeweilige Gerätetreiber mit allen Eingängen angezeigt wird und ich auch alle Ein- und Ausgänge exlizit angewählt habe, erscheint im Track-Fenster nur ASIO 1/2 und danach bei allen weiteren EIngängen ASIO 3/4. Ich kann keine weiteren Eingänge vergeben, obwohl in den FAQ steht, dass alle ASIO Eingänge einzeln Spuren zugeordnet werden können.
Nachdem ich mir schon einen "Wolf" gesucht habe, bin ich für jeden Tip dankbar!

Hallo Manfred, willkommen im Forum! Leider kann ich das nicht ausprobieren, weil ich kein Mehrkanal-Audio-Interface nutze, nur eines in Stereo. Aber vielleicht hilft dir dieser Thread hier weiter. Es scheint wohl notwendig zu sein, jeder Spur nicht nur einen Eingang zuzuweisen, sondern vorher auch einen separaten Ausgang. Aber keine Ahnung, wie gesagt. Aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall auch mal im englischen Forum nachzufragen, ich weiß, es gibt dort einige User, die Multitrack-Recording mit RealBand machen. Welchen Support hast du denn angeschrieben? Den deutschen bei M3C oder den direkt bei PG Music? Zumindest von letzterem weiß ich, dass er meist sehr hinterher ist, Probleme zu lösen. Da die Entwickler im Moment aber intensiv an der aktuellen Mac-Version von BiaB arbeiten, könnte das erklären, warum es etwas länger dauert. https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=302021#Post302021

danke für die Info!
Momentan ist es anscheinend wirklich problematisch Support zu erhalten.
Ich benutze BiaB seit ATARI-Zeiten, also seit den 80er Jahren und habe mich so ziemlich durch alle Updates "durchgehangelt". Das Problem mit der ASIO-Spuranwahl bestand auch schon bei den älteren Versionen. PCMusic bekommt es anscheinend nicht in den Griff. Realband ist in diesem Zustand für mich unbrauchbar. Ich bin wieder Samplitude und Cubase zurück, nachdem ich wirklich tage- und nächtelang versucht habe, Lösungen zu finden. Vergeblich! Schade!
Bei den anderen Produkten am Markt ist es völlig unproblematisch, Geräte per ASIO-Treiber mit bis zu 32 Kanälen zu integrieren. Nur Realband ist eine einzige Katastrophe . . .

Hallo Manfred,
eine Lösung wäre es vielleicht, wenn du statt Realband vorerst Band in a Box als VST-Plugin innerhalb von Samplitude oder CuBase nutzt – das integriert dir zumindest Band in Box in deine DAW. Die entsprechenden Plugins (in 32- und 64-Bit) sind zwar gerade neu entwickelt und damit noch nicht immer sehr stabil, aber PGMusic liefert im Moment fast wöchentlich neue Builds sowohl der Hauptprogramme als auch der Plugins - das wird also sicher im Laufe der Zeit besser funktionieren.

Das Thema hat sich erledigt!
REALBAND beherrscht keine Sequenzerfähigkeiten - es können keine Spuren nacheinander aufgenommen werden, da bei einer neuen Aufnahme wieder alle Spuren gleichzeitig aufgenommen und damit überschrieben werden.

Genau. Wenn Sie 10 Eingänge auswählen, nehmen Sie immer auf 10 Monospuren oder 5 Stereospuren auf. So hat RealBand immer funktioniert.
Ich werde gerne eine Anfrage einreichen, dass dies in einer zukünftigen Version oder einem Build geändert wird.

Wenn mehrere ASIO Eingangskanäle angewählt werden, werden alle Kanäle gleichzeitig aufgenommen, obwohl vielleicht nur an einem Kanal Signal anliegt. Die übliche Vorgehensweise im Sequenzerbetrieb ist doch das hintereinander folgende Aufnehmen einzelner Spuren, immer beginnend bei Takt 01.
In CUBASE und anderen DAW kann jeder Spur einem einzelnen ASIO-Eingang zugeordnet werden.
Die Scharfschaltung zur Aufnahme erfolgt danach in jeder Spur getrennt.

Aber nur so kann man z. B. 10 ASIO Eingänge auf 10 Spuren der DAW verteilen und nacheinander jede Spur einzeln bespielen, ohne die anderen Spuren zu beeinträchtigen.
Jetzt wird mir auch klar, warum immer 10 Spuren gleichzeitig aufgenommen werden, wenn ich 10 Eingangskanäle verwende.
Da fehlt ein wichtiges Bestandteil in der Software: Der Aufnahmeschalter im Track!!!
Ich habe mich lange herum geärgert, aber so ist REALBAND für mich unbrauchbar.
War dann wahrscheinlich der letzte Update . . .
