Buenos Días: Quisiera en una canción ya creada cambiar de instrumento, en concreto la melodia. Sin embargo cuando le doy a play vuelve a sonar instrumento anterior y no suena el nuevo que le he asignado aunque en el mezclador si aparece cambiado.
Solicito alguna sugerencia, no se si hay que cambiar alguna opción.

Hola ACA,
Primero descartemos algunos detalles y obtengamos un poco mas de información:
- ¿Ocurre el problema en un tema o canción creada por ti o es un demo de BIAB o cancion producida por terceros?
- El tema ¿usa RealTracks, XtraStyle o es todo basado en instrumentos y estilo MIDI? ¿o es un estilo y combinación de instrumentos personalizado por ti?
- ¿Que sintetizador virtual estas usando para la pista de melodía? (por ejemplo, Coyote, Edirol, Hyper Canvas, Sforzando, Hypersonic etc) ¿o un módulo/teclado externo?
- Debes verificar que el sintetizador virtual que utilizas tenga habilitado el "cambio de programa" (Program Change) lo cual permite que el cambio de sonido o "patch" deseado sea efectuado.
Adicionalmente: ¿Que versión y build de Band-in-a-Box estas usando? nota: debes asegurarte de estar utilizando Band-in-a-Box con el mas reciente Build o revisión/actualización correspondiente a tu versión, por ejemplo BIAB 2018 build520.

Tengo BIAB 2019 Build 614
He querido cambiar el instrumento de la Melodia que es midi, por ejemplo tengo un piano acústico de GM y lo cambiaba dando click a la pista en el Mezclador a Gm 12 o sea Vibes. Este cambio quedaba reflejado en el texto de la pista pero cuando le daba a play seguía sonando el piano. El resto de instrumentos que supongo que depende del estilo elegido son Real Tracks.
Esto me ocurría con canciones producidas por terceros o importadas la melodia como MIDI habiendolas editado previamente en un editor de partituras externo.
He probado lo que me indicas sobre el sintetizador que utilizo y que tenga habilitado el cambio de programa. No se si he actuado bien pero he abierto en Options, la ventana Midi/Audio Driver Setup y en la parte derecha central, aparece un botón que dice "Dxi Synth Settings [CoyoteWT]. Lo he activado y me aparece otra ventana con los slots. En la parte derecha me aparece Plugin y debajo Dxi Coyote WT y más abajo Forced Midi Chan = None.
Este último lo he cambiado a Forced Midi Chan = 1 le he dado aceptar y ya me ha cambiado el instrumento.
Lo que no entiendo es que he cambiado a otra canción y con los mismo valores anteriore (Forced Midi Chan=None) ahora si me cambia de intrusmento.

Hola Andrés,
Gracias por describir el proceso que seguiste, es interesante como se ha revertido el problema y se ha logrado efectuar el cambio de instrumento, ya que el parámetro de Forced Midi Chan hasta donde se no tiene nada que ver, de todas formas voy a verificarlo en mi sistema.
Podrías también intentar probar de nuevo con la canción en la que tuviste el problema, volviendo a colocar el valor NONE en Forced Midi Chan, de tal manera que si se repite, verificar asi que el inconveniente proviene de dicha canción. De ser así podrías hacernos llegar el archivo de la canción para hacerle una prueba.
En caso de que todo continúe normal es probable que al salvar el archivo y cargar en fresco de nuevo Band-in-a-Box haya "limpiado" algún sector de memoria o comando, a veces sucede,y no representa mayor problema.
Yo suelo recomendar a los usuarios salir de BIAB luego de sesiones muy largas o donde se hayan realizado una cantidad relativa de acciones o ejecución de comandos, ya que eso ayuda a reordenar la memoria y desechar incluso pequeñas "impurezas" que podrían irse acumulándose en la RAM y causar fallas. Esto no es inherente a BIAB exclusivamente, es relativamente normal y puede suceder a muchos programas, después de largas o complejas sesiones.

Creo que ocurre con los ficheros con extensión MGX creadosen BIAB a partir de importar un fichero MIDI.
Te envio un ejemplo. He intentado cambiar el instrumento de la melodia de Reed (GM 72) a Vibes, lo hace pero sigue el sonido de clarinete (Reed GM 72).
