If you are running Pianoteq Standalone Mode, and you don't close it when you open RB or PT, and you are trying to use ASiO sound drivers on both programs, that is your problem.

Also, even if you close down Pianoteq first, you may still get an error if it isn't releasing the ASIO drivers at shutdown. Some programs take a longer time to do so and there is no indicator of that onscreen.

A way around that is to change RB/PT to MME drivers if you need to play Pianoteq standalone in realtime while the other program is open. Windows Sound Drivers can share, ASIO sound drivers were designed not to share. Even though some certain few programs will do it, it isn't the true ASIO spec to do so.
