I copy the first few bars to a 'new' song and set it to repeat several times. It doesn't take much to say yes or no to a style so you don't really need a whole song. You might want to put in a part marker or two for the a/b sections to see what changes the style makes.
I like your idea of a rewind or option to auto start at the beginning when testing out styles.
