Obviously, that's not standard.
When things don't go as they are supposed to in BiaB, the first thing I try is a reboot of the PC.
If that doesn't fix things, then the next thing I try is, inside BiaB, under the Opt menu, "Return to Factory Settings".
Sometimes a songfile will become corrupted and the only way around that is to start over from the beginning on it.
