If you click on Help, Display Program Upgrade Manual, the manual is the 2009 version.

I get the 2009.5 manuals on both Displays for Program manual and Program UPGRADE Manual. I think they are calling the same PDF file.
In the /BB folder, there is a 2009 Manual file, but the content is 2009.5.
There is also a 2010 Upgrade Manual in the folder, so you can read it manually, but this is not the one being called by the menu.?

Yes, that Help button looks for full manuals, not upgrade manuals.
Since 2009 is the last full manual released, that's what comes up. it is more copmprehensive and more likely contains the info someone would want to know when at the Help menu. The upgrade manuals just contain whatever features have been added in the new release, verly little to no basic operational info.
You can find the 2010 upgrade .pdf manual in your bb folder.

Most folks won't know where to find it, especially newbies who need it the most. Seems like it would be simple enough to have the upgrade manual link point to the 2010 pdf file.

Well, I'm talking about the Help menu (I didn't know there is a Help button?). I have two Display commands in my Help menu, so PG Music thinks I should be able to choose which one I want to read, and do it from there.
There is no full 2010 manual yet, but the latest full manual I have is for version 2009.5, not 2009.
Does your system have something different, Mac? [I'm using the audiophile version.]

Bob, my post above was commenting on Mac's comment, not yours. I agree with you. My system doesn't even have a PDF file for the 2009.5 upgrade info, so I don't know why that is coming up instead of the 2010 file I do have; the 2009.5 info must be built into the main program?

If someone has been installing their new version(s) of BiaB right overtop of the old one, in the same folder, as many of us do, then the older .pdf files remain.
I've still got the BB2004 .pdf manual in my bb folder...
