BIAB shuts down if I try to open a file. #547807 08/02/19 12:15 AM

OP hedystafford Enthusiast H Joined: May 2012 Posts: 37	BIAB shuts down when I try to open some files in my personal folders (by any route). BIAB no longer remembers that my files are stored in my Music folder and on re-opening reverts to the BIAB App and "Songs". Files which came with the BIAB package are still accessible and will open. A new file created yesterday will also open. Otherwise I cannot see any pattern in which files will open and which won't. BIAB 2015 Mac iMac Late 2009 10.12.6 Sierra

OP hedystafford Enthusiast H Joined: May 2012 Posts: 37	Update. Have reinstalled BIAB on desktop. Have checked BIAB on laptop where it is all working fine. Re-cloned files from laptop and transferred them to desktop where they have the same problem as before.

Because you posted this in the Mac FAQ section, someone else had to alert me that this was even here. If you take this to the Band-in-a-Box for Macintosh pages, then I'll be likely to see it. https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=39&page=1 As it is, Console isn't telling me much except that you have a game interface or controller app that may or may not be getting in the way. I would disable those drivers first then try to reinstall 2018 and see what happens. There are other threads on the other board about the time it can take to install BIAB. Take a look at those. Other than being impatient, you've provided no details that would let anyone take an educated guess.
