If someone was writing in sheet music, how would they indicate a one-bar drum fill like that without it affecting the overall system? I mean, isn't that common in rock, one bar that's kind of inserted, outside of the 8-16-32 bar system?





On the bar-numbering, I raised the very same question a couple of years ago and got basically the answer of "yeah, that happens."

This, to me, seems to be one of the drawbacks of BiaB or any computer app that tries to mimic human action.

I've sent some BiaB song ideas to my guitar teacher (who doesn't use BiaB) and he often says, "ya know there should be a fill or guitar lick there at the end of the phrase" and I reply, yes, I know, but BiaB doesn't really do that.
