I am using BiaB 2010 build 293 and running on a PC 32 bit machine.
I am running through tutorials and just catching up on things that I don't often use. So, I did the tutorial on Piano Roll and loaded a Tutorial piece which is supposed to be for the piano roll and midi editing. The tutorial refers to the piece as being 3 choruses with the trumpet playing the first chorus, the flute on the second and Alto Sax (I think it was Alto) on the third and how to view the Program Changes for those instruments in the Graphic Event Panel. I understand that and I know how to do that. But the piece plays straight through on Trumpet only. When I insert the Program Changes for each chorus, they insert as expected in the Graphic Event Panel, but when I play the piece, it all reverts back to just trumpet on all choruses. I also tried changing it in the "Bar Settings" dialogue also to no avail. The tutorial does not explain what else I need to do to accomplish a Program Change. Either I cannot read correctly or something is not quite right.
Any suggestions?
