Hola, muchas gracias de antemano.
Mi problema es que no consigo que mi guitarra suene al mismo tiempo que BIAB. Utilizo los siguientes recursos:
- iRig HD2 de IKMULTIMEDIA para enchufar la guitarra. Lo utilizo como interface de audio.
- Windows 10.
El caso es que me interesa que la guitarra suene con AMPLITUBE al mismo tiempo que está funcionando el BIAB. En una ocasión conseguí, después de toquetear la configuración de audio de Windows, que sonara la guitarra limpia, es decir, que de AMPLITUBE ni hablar. Y además tenía una pequeña latencia, por lo que me decidí a usar el ASIO; desde entonces no lo he vuelto a conseguir, ni con latencia ni sin ella.
Me vendría de maravilla, para practicar, conseguir esto que os comento.
No sé si es un problema de la configuración de Windows, del iRig, o de BIAB.
El caso es que con mi iPad conectado al iRig no tengo ningún problema en que funcionen dos aplicaciones al mismo tiempo, por ejemplo el GarageBand para mi guitarra y otra de creación de pistas como por ejemplo SESSIONBAND... En fin, ojalá diera con el problema.

Hola adnadn67, bienvenido al foro,
Band-in-a-Box ha ido ofreciendo cada vez mas importantes características y mejoras en el área del audio, tales como la compatibilidad con ASIO, VST y VSTi, mejor motor de grabación, procesamiento de efectos y ahora con el advenimiento del VST DAW plugin se abren increíbles posibilidades en conjunto y vinculación con Estaciones de Trabajo de Audio Digital (DAW)
Sin embargo es importante acotar que al momento, dentro del programa, no es posible monitorizar los efectos en tiempo real durante la grabación, sino al reproducir el audio grabado, ya que esa tarea está mas dirigida a otras aplicaciones dedicadas a la secuenciación de audio y MIDI , tales como RealBand, Cubase, reaper, Logic Audio, Garage Band, etc. Cualquiera sean las preferencias personales.
En cuanto a iRig si bien es cierto que el entorno Mac y su sistema operativo permite de modo nativo compartir en varias aplicaciones de audio al mismo tiempo con el mismo controlador, también se puede lograr algo similar bajo Windows. Algunos dispositivos de audio para PC poseen controladores de ASIO multicliente que permiten usar una misma interface de audio en dos aplicaciones al mismo tiempo. Igualmente por reportes que he leído de usuarios de Cakewalk y iRig HD2 de IKMULTIMEDIA, se ha logrado usar el programa aprovechando las capacidades de procesamiento de Amplitube con guitarra en tiempo real, no sin contratiempos, sin embargo la actualización del firware del iRig al parecer es una de las recomendaciones claves para lograr la integración.
Igualmente el controlador genérico ASIO4ALL podría ser una alternativa para poder conectar l iRig como interface de audio para el Band-in-a-Box mientras se reproduce aparte el audio de iRig procesando la guitarra con Amplitube.
Sería recomendable primero indagar en los foros de IK Multimedia a nivel del entorno Windows y ver si ha habido casos y recomendaciones al respecto. Pero por el momento Band-in-a-Box no permite el monitoreo con efectos activos usando su propio motor de audio, como lo hace por ejemplo RealBand y otros mencionados.

Muchísimas gracias Carlos. Voy a leer unas cuantas veces tu respuesta y a indagar en los foros como me recomiendas.
Se agradece esta enorme profesionalidad por vuestra parte.
Siento frustración por no poder hacer sonar mi guitarra al mismo tiempo que suena BIAB, pero en fin, la solución más simple intuyo que será importar en DAW, que ahora ya es simplemente arrastrar las pistas, y listo, o pasarlas al iPad para utilizar iRig como te menciono... No obstante seguiré buscando una solución a este problema.

Nos alegra haber podido dar luces en una posible solucion, estamos para servirte en lo que este a nuestro alcance. Te recomiendo hacer las pruebas tratando de correr otra aplicación simultanea con Band in-a-Box, es lo que yo hago muchas veces cuando no estoy en el entorno PC/Windows.
Tambien es posible grabar tu guitarra, instrumento o voz en la pista de audio que posee Band-in-a-Box para tal fin, aun cuando no este conectada la guitarra. El procedimiento se puede habilitar utilizando una utilidad tipo "cable virtual de audio" que permite transferir archivos de sonido entre diferentes aplicaciones o grabar audio de una aplicación a otra.
Entre otras he visto que VB-Audio Virtual Cable es bastante recomendada, aunque personalmente no puedo dar fe de su funcionamiento, ya que no lo he necesitado. Igualmente para MAC existe una utilidad similar llamada Loopback.
Asi que todo es cuestión de experimentar.

He probado el VB-Audio Virtual Cable y me había funcionado bien en windows 7 32 pero al pasarme a Windows 10 64 bits dejó de trabajar. Alguna idea de que estará pasando? Gracias.

Hola Ginna,
Debes asegurarte de instalar dicha aplicación en la carpeta correspondiente de 64 bits tanto en Windows 7, 8, como en Windows 10. También asegúrate de usar la mas reciente actualización de la aplicación. Inténtalo así y nos cuentas como te fué.

Hola Carlos, parte del problema estaba también en un bloqueo que me estaba haciendo el firewal de windows y el UAC luego de hacer recuperar el sistema en un fallo. Después de hacer eso, configuré la carpeta correcta como sugeriste y listo, todo bien.

Si te refieres a la carpeta mencionada para las aplicaciones, para 64 bits es "Archivos de Programa" y para 32 bits "Archivos de Programa (x86)". En un sistema operativo en Ingles serían: para 64 bits "Program Files" , 32 bits "Program Files (x86)"
Cualquier otra duda al respecto sera un gusto responderla.
