I more than agree with all the compliments of the others here. You did a very good job with this one. Thank God in Europe we have our own Santa. We can still celebrate Christmas!
But your lyrics were very funny. I could see these deers in front of me, dead stoned and thinking they could fly with their carved ears. A very nice find.

Merry Christmas, Jim!
Hans

Thanks Hans...
I glad you enjoyed it...
But I hope I don't disappoint you...
If I go back to writing those "cry in your beer" country songs smile

Jim, this is one Christmas song I want to hear every year!
Excellent write, vocals and outstanding backing tracks and lyrics.

PS My feet were tapping and my head was laughing. Hard to beat that combination!

When you are at the checkout line and they ask if you found everything say "Why, are you hiding stuff?"

Creativity shines as bright as the noon-time summer sun! You've really outdone yourself with this little gem.

Truly inspiring on s-o-o-o-o-o-o many levels!

All the best,

For your continued comments & support...
I guess could add extra verses...
About how Santa escaped from jail...
Got his reindeer out...
And finally delivered those presents wink
A song with a happy ending?

It tickles me to know your feet were tapping & you head was laughing...
And you liked it well enough to want to hear it again next year smile
I only wish there was an easy way to find the old Christmas songs each year...
So we could listen to them!
