This is an assumption that does not take into account the fact that the program uses Equal Energy Panning for Stereo Tracks.

However, as pointed out, BiaB was not really designed for such surgical audio work, but if you are into trying such, RealBand or even Powertracks or any other DAW software for multitracking is the better choice for such endeavor. One might also consider taking an extra intermediate step through an Audio Editing Software such as the free Audacity, converting any stereo wav tracks to mono first, too.
