*Load the song with the frozen tracks.

*Unfreeze the tracks.

*Use SaveAs to save it in that configuration, under a different name.

Now you will have the original frozen songfile as it was, and the new one to work on, change styles, etc.

Use SaveAs with slightly different filenames as many times as needed to hold onto ideas, different styles, etc. as you work.

I like to use this convention:

Mysong.MGU

Mysong01.MGU

Mysong02.MGU

etc.

Or you can use any naming convention that you like.

No need to change the program, change your viewpoint and workflow habits instead.
