If you followed my instructions in the first post, the soloist should only sound for those bars in the song where you have set the bar settings set "back to normal" for the Soloist track.

What you are experiencing sounds like it might be due to a Bar Settings error.

To double check this...

1. click the mouse on bar 1

2. right-click and select "Bar Settings" (or press F5)

3. down the bottom of the bar settings window, click on "Reset ALL bar settings" -- this will remove all of them

4. the solo piano should still be on the Soloist track (in the mixer)

5. Make sure that the Soloist track is not frozen (the blue icon beside the S and M icons in the mixer)

6. Generate the song and let it play -- the soloist should now start playing at bar 1

If the above works, now re-enter the bar settings that I describe in my first post.
