Hola: bueno creo que esto se llama renderizar a mp3. Tengo Band in a Box 2020 build 721 y cuando quiero pasar una canción a mp3 BIAB la pasa a wav y a continuación se cierra el programa. Solicito alguna ayuda, gracias.

Hola ACA, En términos informático musicales le podemos llamar básicamente "exportar" aunque el anglicismo spanglish "renderizar" proveniente de la palabra inglesa "rendering" (render) se usa mucho para describir el proceso final de creación de un archivo de audio o video producido en un programa de grabación y/o de edición. El procedimiento en Biab se consigue en el ícono Save As/Save Song as Audio, alli encontraremos tres opciones, en la segunda opción Export Song As Audio(wav,wma,mp3,mp4,mpa) podremos escoger el formato de nuestra preferencia.  También podemos acceder a dicha función desde el menu File/Save Special/Save Song as mp3.  Algunos usuarios han reportado obtener mejores resultados al exportar a mp3. utilizando la función de arrastra y soltar (Drag n Drop) indicada como "DROP" (arriba a la izquierda debajo de "Master") Alli simplemente arrastramos el instrumento "Master" o cualquiera de los instrumentos individualmente que queramos, sobre los 6 diferentes tipos de formato alli indicados: WAV WMAL M4A + MP3, WMA, MID. NOTA: Band-in-a-Box permite realizar Drag n Drop (arrastrar y soltar) sobre cualquier directorio o carpeta de nuestra selección e igualmente podrán "arrastrarse y soltarse" el "master" full o instrumentos individuales sobre la ventana de pistas de prácticamente casi todos los DAW o secuenciadores externos, sea cual sea nuestra preferencia.  Para asegurarnos de un renderizado exitoso es recomendable previamente entrar en las opciones de "DAW Plugin" (icono DAW de color morado) para realizar ajustes básicos.  En el siguiente video se indican los ajustes básicos necesarios antes de exportar la canción a audio. Ajustes básicos de Drag n Drophttps://bit.ly/2XVx28FEs muy importante asegurarse de que los codecs de audio correspondientes a cada formato se encuentren instalados. Estos codecs no son suministrados ni por Band-in-a-Box ni por el sistema operativo, sin embargo se encuentran ampliamente disponibles en la red y deberán buscarse e instalarse para el sistema operativo del usuario. He realizado lo que me has indicado: He puesto en opciones del icono DAW "Arrastrar audio como MP3" y me he bajado e instalado los codec de K-Lite Basic. Ahora me funciona las tres opciones que indicas:
1. Arrastrar Maestro al icono MP3 en la parte superior izquierda, crea un fichero mp3 con todo el sonido de la canción en C:\bb\DragDrop.
2. Clic en icono "Guardar como" opción guardar como audio y elegir mp3, puedo guardarlo en la carpeta que yo elija.
3. Archivo/Guardar especial/guardar canción como .mp3.
Pienso que no tenía los codecs para pasar a mp3 y además en las opciones del icono DAW tenía por defecto wav.
Tambien he arrastrado y soltado la pista Maestro y me ha funcionado en el Audacity (ha creado una pista de audio) pero no en REAPER.
Gracias por todo, solo quería pasar canciones de BIAB a mp3 para llevarlas en el móvil (celular), aunque creo que BIAB al tener la opción de pasar a mp3 y otros formatos de audio, debería tener incorporados en el programa los codec necesarios.

Nos alegramos que hayas podido solucionar el problema básico. Cualquier otra pregunta no dudes en realizarla. En cuanto a la sugerencia de incluir los codecs necesarios en Biab: https://www.pgmusic.com/tutorial_bbwrender.htm#compressedDebido a restricciones de licencia y patentes de tecnología MP3, no podemos incluir códecs MP3 con nuestro software. Hay tres soluciones posibles: (1) La última versión de Windows Media Player incluye un códec MP3 compatible con ACM, l3codecp.acm, que debe encontrar en su directorio Windows \\ System32, y puede codificar MP3 a altas velocidades de bits. Sin embargo, este códec puede o no estar habilitado en su computadora. (2) Busque en línea un códec MP3 que pueda descargar e instalar. (3) Guarde su archivo como un archivo de onda estéreo (extension "wav") y realice la conversión de onda a MP3 en un programa de terceros. Debido a que los codecs son software registrado, PG Music no puede incluirlos con los productos que venden, asi sean gratis o pagos. Los programas de PG Music usarán los codecs si ya están registrados en su sistema y en el registro de Windows, y se utilizan llamadas estándar al registro para ubicar la instalación de CODECS. Por otro lado, si los codecs vinieran incluidos con Biab/RB, habría cierto riesgo de que otros codecs ya estuvieran instalados en el sistema y pudieran haber conflictos entre unos y otros, y añadir un mecanismo de análisis y detección de codecs pre-instalados en el sistema haría el proceso de instalación de Biab/RB innecesariamente complejo, sobre todo tomando en cuenta que hay diferentes tipos de codecs que interactúan de maneras diferentes con cada software y con cada versión del sistema operativo. La recomendación ideal es investigar para ampliar un poco la información, lo cual indudablemente seria de gran provecho tanto para los usarios de Band-in-a-Box y RealBand como para otros softwares y aplicaciones de audio/video que requieran de codecs para sus tareas de exportación/importación, renderizado y conversión de archivos. With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums).
