Suddenly when I try to select a section of an audio file in track view I can't select a starting location between beats on a specific tick on the time line - it always wants to snap to the nearest quarter note. I must have done something but I snooped around and cannot find how to undo this snapping to a beat issue.
Perhaps you have accidentally clicked on the "Snap to Grid" feature (something I use a lot, but easily turned on and off). Actually, with PowerTracks 2019, this feature was changed to snap to nearest vertical grid line (used to just snap to the nearest quarter note beat.
You can change the grid line resolution using the "right-click" popup menu by right clicking anywhere over the visible tracks area.
