Well, the way I look at it, there isn't anything inherently wrong about using all of the CPU -- for short amounts of time. its not like the redline on an engine tachometer (grin).

Matter of fact, I would think that processing would happen *faster* by utilizing as much of the resource as possible for those rather short bursts when needed.

What we don't want to see is the CPU ramping up to 100% -- and staying there. That could be a real problem.
