Matt,
"I see more success at presenting concepts to PG Music"
Asked Andrew to join beta, he kindly declined. So it make sense for me to discuss things here, especially on the most important feature in BIAB to me. Which is 16 tracks and while it is being crafted smile

The "option" of Utility Tracks to automate regeneration is a broad question. It depends on where things are going with Utility Tracks. Automating with ticker in mixer will only require a couple of lines of code. Temporary or not, it will give an immediate solution and time saving relief to PG customer support with questions like: "I am regenerating, but my Utility Tracks are not." Unless developers are hot and will find a creative and elegant way to solve it. Of course, if Utility tracks will start acting as regular Mixer tracks (see pipeline post), "freeze" button will/should be added and that in fact will solve everything for once concerning slower machines and selectively deciding what will be regenerated and what will not.

I wanted to re-assure poster Sixchannel that he has nothing to worry about concerning Utility Tracks. And so goes for everyone who have slower systems and who are concerned. Extra Utility Tracks tracks are added on demand to mixer 1 or all 16 of them. You do not need to have them or use these in your projects. But I think many people will smile

P.S. My personal opinion, regenerating standard 7 legacy mixer tracks + 3-6 Utility tracks, should not be a big deal at all for slower systems.
