I routinely export BIAB MIDI files for use in Reaper

File > Save Special > Save Song as MIDI file > File on Disk, MIDI File Type 1

In the past the resulting MIDI file has multiple tracks with each track labeled with its corresponding instrument ("Bass," "Drums", etc.).

Now all of the sudden BAIB exports MIDI tracks with just the MIDI file name for each track, i.e., multiple tracks are no longer labeled with their corresponding instrument like they used to be.

Oddly, the other thing that has changed with MIDI Save Special is that in the past the File on Disk option always defaulted to using the BIAB project name for the MIDI file; now the MIDI file name field is empty.

I can't figure out what BIAB setting would have changed this. I restored the MIDI output settings to default, but no joy. Did I accidentally change a setting somewhere else?
