You might need to go to the RealTracks Preferences and check "Save RealCharts in MIDI files".
There is a subtle but significant distinction between the RealDrums transcription you see notated and a MIDI drum part. RealDrums have transcriptions which are referred to as "RealCharts" (similar to the RealTracks transcriptions, they are transcriptions of what was played, so they aren't necessarily mean to be heard). As of 2021 all of the Drums have this. In 2018, none had it. Depending on your song or style, there might be an underlying MIDI drums track which is different, and perhaps it is being substituted for RealDrums... so that might be the track that you were seeing in some cases.
