Hi
I am usuing BIAB pro. I see a lot of RT N/A in style picker. Why are the real tracks not available?

Hi,
The ProPak is PG Music's entry level version of BIAB. As a consequence, it does not have all the Realtracks, Realdrums and MidiSuperTracs. I suspect that this is the problem.
The cheapest version of BIAB that contains all Realtracks, except bonus material, is the UltraPak.
In Stylepicker, it's possible to set it so that it doesn't show the styles have have N/A. To do this,
1) enter stylepicker
2) select the "Other" button at the top of the style list
3) select "Show only styles that are found"

Thanks for the reply.
Please let me know about the following:-
1) Why style picker is listing the styles which are not fully functional or available for the version I purchased. This will also reflect on the total number of styles as well which is misleading.
2) Is there any option to use Yamaha style files in BIAB? Both BIAB and Yamaha got .sty files. But the .sty files I have cannot be loaded in BIAB.

style picker defaults to show everything - even styles that are not available so that - i think - to prevent purchasers of packs other than the propak having to search for the styles they have. its much easier to turn off the setting than ask people to go through a process to show the styles they have. it's not misleading - it simply shows what you don't have and can easily be switched off.

So Stlye picker shows all the available styles
for BIAB irrespective of the version you use.
And I have to do the 3 steps Noel suggested to see what is really available.
How can I confirm that the styles which shows [RT N/A] is not a part of Pro version or it is because of some folder location problem.
Because i have read such topics in the forum. So how can I confirm?

Hi again, According to the Pro sales information at the link below, Pro 2021 should have 991 styles. https://www.pgmusic.com/bbwin.packages.pro.htmIf you want to double-check this, you will need to talk to someone at PG Music. To do that, click on the blue square with a white speech bubble in it that's on the bottom right of the screen. That will open direct chat and it works during sales hours. Hope this helps, Noel

I just started using BIAB few days back. You said to open SGU MGU (I believe these are song files of BIAB) in Jazzlab. But why. I want to use Yamaha style in BIAB. If I am guessing correctly, you are telling me to create a song in BIAB and open that song file in Jazzlab then load Yamaha Stlye and save the file. Then open the song in BIAB. So I will have song with yamaha style in BIAB. But if there is a chord change in the song... we need to go through the whole process again. So its better to have a method to make Yamaha style to BIAB style. Is there an option to convert Yamaha style to BIAB? Not a straight method. I think BIAB can make a style from midi. So if we make a midi file with Yamaha style file... that midi file cold be saved as a style file in BIAB. What will be the most efficient way to do it?

I checked jazzlab... it looks good...
I didn't know about it.. i didn't see it in any Google search result when i search for an auto accompaniment software
I dont see any paid version of it. So its totally free software.
Thanks for showing this to me... the good thing is that it can play Yamaha style files.
Compatibility with Yamaha Yamaha style is a great advantage...
I was using 1manband routed to FL studio. Thats was a nice work for for me. But always messed up with midi routing with virtual midi.
Let me try jazzlab with FL Studio.
BIAB vst plugin is the main reason i buy BIAB.
No live and not able to play Yamaha style in BIAB is really a disadvantage for me.

I check as you said
All Styles including NA - 8410
Only NA - 7324
Styles that are found - 1087
So from the list of 1087 also there are some styles which says [RT n/a]
Means, there are some RT missing, how can i fix it

He gave me the following info:-
"cause styles use various realtrack from various sets, you do not have every realtrack in every styles.. you can still load the style, but you will be missing the n/a RT"

Another way to say this is that I don’t think there are styles for Pro users and other styles for Ultra users. A style, after all, is someone’s good suggestion of how to combine a group of MIDI and/or RealTracks and RealDrums. You can do this yourself, and save the style under a new name you give it. You can take an existing style as well and alter it to customize it.
