Bisher habe ich Band-in-a-Box eher oberflächlich genutzt, um schnell ein paar Akkorde einzutippen und mich an den schönen Begleit-Playbacks zu erfreuen.
Nun möchte ich aber lernen, exakter Songs (mit Strophen, Refrains, ggf. Bridge und auch Finessen wie Da Capo al fine...) in BIAB umzusetzen. Habt ihr hier gute Quellen, wo man solche Umsetzungen von grund auf mit BIAB lernen kann (Tutorials, Internetseiten)? Optimal wäre natürlich deutsch, aber gute englischsprachige Seiten sind auch kein Problem...
Vielleicht zuletzt ein konkretes Beispiel für ein Umsetzungsproblem:
Viele Songs fangen mit einem Auftakt an (also nicht mit einem kompletten Takt), münden in die erste Strophe und starten mit dem letzten Takt der Strophe dann direkt wieder in die 2. Strophe (also ohne den Auftakt).
Wenn ich in BIAB nun am Anfang (beim Auftakt) einen kompletten Takt setze, ist der dann ab der 2. Strophe überflüssig.
Wie kann ich z. B. dieses Problem elegant lösen?

In so einem Fall einfach Rechtsklick in den 2. Takt und "setze Strophenanfang auf Takt 2", ist für mich zumindest immer die einfachste Lösung. Das Einzige, was mich daran immer stört, ist dass sich dabei quasi die ganze Songform um einen Takt verschiebt.

Das ist ja schon mal eine praktikable Lösung. Danke!
Aber Frage 1 bleibt noch... Habt ihr Tipps für Internetseiten und Tutorials, wo einem diese Dinge Step-by-step sinnvoll beigebracht werden?

Hallo Gonzomaster, Kennst du die kurzen, aber mitunter recht informativen Tutorial-Videos zu Band in a Box, die direkt von PGMusic erstellt wurden? Hier zum Beispiel ein schneller Einstieg in die Nutzung des Menupunktes "Song Form" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxcn7BcvnOMhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxD4tquRQOMhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-du6vzr8t4kEIne Übersicht aller Video-Tutorials findest du auf der PG-Webseite unter Support/Videos. Auch das deusche Handbuch gibt einige Hinweise ab Seite 134 bzw. 136 (version 2020). Weltweit gibt es keine Sekundärliteratur zu Band in a Box. Du kannst also nur so vorgehen: Handbuch, Youtube-Videos (von PGMusic oder Dritten), Online-Hilfe im Programm, Ausprobieren, Seminare buchen (Burg Fürsteneck, Landesmusikakademie Berlin bietet so etwas an) oder dieses Forum befragen. Auch der englische PG-Support (support@pgmusic.com) hilft oft schnell und freundlich weiter.

Hallo Brille, danke für die vielen hilfreichen Infos. Ein bisschen habe ich auch schon durch Herumprobieren herausbekommen. Das Handbuch finde ich zur ersten Orientierung auch immer gut, aber an manchen Stellen wärs halt ganz gut, mal ein bisschen mehr angeleitet zu werden. Ich glaube, die Mischung aus den verschiedenen Info-Quellen ist der richtige Weg!
