Could someone kindly check if they are able to select the 'Master' button in BiaB 2021 the latest build (825).
In my install I am able to select each of the other buttons; Bass, Accordian, Drums, Guitar, Strings, Melody etc but not the 'Master' button.
We are now into the 14th build since release with over 200 fixes and improvements with still the same issue so I wonder if they are aware of this bug and if it is on the Developer's list of things to fix.
In the thread "Unhappy With BIAB 2021" Peter Gannon writes that, "We work hard to correct reported issues", so what is the best way to report issues should the team not be aware of this issue.
I realise this is a minor issue but many of the current fixes are for minor fixes and it would be great if this issue was added to the list of minor fixes.
I just tried it here with MIDI only, RT/RD only, and mixed MIDI and RT/RD and all of them worked fine here. This was dragging the master button to the DAW section of BiaB. Is this where you are having the problem? If not then please explain exactly what you are doing.
Have you tried the return to factory settings?
{edit} Are you using a Mac or PC? My test was on a PC. Actually more specs would be very helpful.

My wife had her driving test today. She got 8 out of 10. The other 2 jumped out of the way!
64 bit Win 10 Pro, the latest BiaB/RB, Roland Octa-Capture audio interface, a ton of software/hardware
... so what is the best way to report issues should the team not be aware of this issue.
Best way to report is right here like you have done. Now folks will try to confirm the issue. But you have to help us by sticking to it and providing details so we know exactly what to try. Best is pictures of the situation if possible. Generally there is some back and forth needed to get to the root of the issue. Are you trying to render to file the Master Track? So we are now waiting for your input to Mario's questions.
OK, this must be the button you are trying to click. And, NO I cannot select this button. In may case I have never tried to in the past. Not sure why I would want to select this button. I can drag it to the drop station and I assume it will render. Is this your issue? I suspect this is exactly what Mario is pointing out above. So it works but not the way one would assume. I seem to recall this has been brought up in the past.
OK, now I see exactly what is going on for you - pictures tell a 1000 words. First, I have a work around - start using the BIAB-VST (with Reaper) and this problem will go away, and 2) I agree this is not right. It appears to be a broken path which apparently is now obsolete but legacy code remains. We can try to escalate this via the Beta testing forum. I will drop a note over there tomorrow unless someone comes along and shows us both the error of our ways.
I can definitely drag the Master radio button to the drop-station.
When first clicking-down on the Master radio button, the icon changes to 'Option not available' (a circle with a diagonal line passing across it), however, if I then drag it, it changes once it is across the drop station.
Have I misunderstood the issue?
BIAB & RB2026 Win.(Audiophile), Windows 10 Pro & Windows 11, Cakewalk Bandlab, Izotope Prod.Bundle, Roland RD-1000, Synthogy Ivory, Session Keys Grand S & Electric R, Kontakt, Focusrite 18i20, KetronSD2, NS40M, Pioneer Active Monitors.

Thank you for finding that and pointing it out. I tried that here and have the same result.
However, I also tried it on the BIAB 2020 version where the same happens except the Master button can also be selected. So, nevertheless, the button is broken in this respect in version 2021.
Perhaps this may be considered too minor a detail worthy of being fixed; I don't know. I'm sure the team have fixed lesser issues so this may be fixed in due course. We shall see.
Thank you again for your help with this; it is appreciated.
OK, it seems that the code must have changed, maybe deliberately, maybe inadvertently.
I'll report this the the developers. Just in case...

Windows 10 (64bit) M-Audio Fast Track Pro, Band in a Box 2025, Cubase 14, Cakewalk and far too many VST plugins that I probably don't need or will ever use
The ability to "select" the Master track from that button was taken out in 2021 specifically because we added the feature of selecting individual tracks in that way to view them in Notation/Piano Roll/Audio Edit/etc. All other functions (right clicking, and drag and drop) do remain for the Master button.

OK, not a bug, but by design. I guess this ends here.
