Hey friends
I have a recurring problem in producing my own MIDI Styles.
At first when I play and record a certain part, everything is fine and I hear the process. Then suddenly the sound stops while listening to a part or recording a new part even though I see a modulation in the BIAB mixer.

The sound appears and disappears without an orderly pattern, once because I make a save, once because I mark another part and then return.
Do other people have the same problem?

I never had that problem.

The first thing I'd do is try a different synthesizer.

I'd also check to see if one or more apps on your computer is trying to use the same synth.

Try restarting your computer and opening nothing else but BiaB.

It's a matter of eliminating one thing at a time.

Thanks my friend for your reply, well:
1. I made sure there was no competition for the sound card.
2. I performed restarts
3. The phenomenon began with the installation of the 822 version
4. I installed version 825 and the phenomenon has changed, now there is a voice most of the time I am in stylemaker but from time to time the software gets stuck or runs heavily.
The truth is I'm pretty desperate for instability

Firstly, can you supply a sample of the song that gives you problems, together with instructions of your prpocess?

Secondly, I think you mean to use the word 'stability' instead ? grin But that's OK, we can work that bit out.

This is not about a particular song, this is about creating style in MIDI even from an empty style, from scratch.
But it's okay I lick the wounds and find solutions.
For example: the desperate attempt to give a feeling of live (on the real treks) makes the song sound untight and I have to perform audio quantize for the treks.
When it comes to real styles, when it comes to country and a number of other styles, the company does an amazing job.
On the other hand, when it comes to new music, there is a feeling that the work should have been given to more musicians. There is a feeling that everything has the same smell.
And as for the sound.
Correct me if I'm wrong, there's a lot of Lo-Mid feeling in the bass and drums and the real drums are not in the balance between kick and snare at the end of the day, I find myself playing the drums from the beginning in MIDI of course with good sounds.

ugabay,

You bring up some good observations.

You mentioned you don't always like how the drums and bass sound. Have you tried the tone control on each channel of the mixer? The tone control default is neutral. Changing the value from zero (0) to a minus value up to -18 increases bass while changing the value from zero to a plus value up to 18 increases treble.

Obviously I played with the TONE parameter even though I do not need it since I perform the sound summary using CUBASE or Harrison Mixbus (for many years I worked with the original console). However, the basic sound is still a bit odd. And again: what genius can not be taken from pg music strikes me as the contrast between the fantastic stuff and the fall in the basics.

I've found using the BiaB mixer tone control prior to rendering a track for DAW export can have a beneficial effect on the rendered audio file. For example if a bass track sounds too muddy in context with the other BiaB tracks I want to use then I add treble so the bass track fits with the other tracks better.

I'm a believer in making the source material the best it can be during tracking or recording. In this respect I give BiaB rendered tracks the same consideration I expect from an audio file created by a session musician. My use of the mixer tone control is my way of getting a track to sit properly within a mix.

Many times when there are two acoustic guitar tracks I want to use I add treble to one track and bass to the other so they blend together better in a mono mix.
