I just read in a previous topic a reply by Peter Gannon which mentions the possibility of Band-in-a-Box becoming subscription.

Of course, I realise there are different subscription models including subscription only as with Sibelius Notation. Other companies offer a subscription model together with a one-off payment option where customers keep the version they have paid for.
I doubt anyone knows at this time what subscription model Peter Gannon and Band-in-aBox may do so in the future, but suffice to say at this early stage, I will never, under any circumstances, entertain subscription only software and shall, in this event, discontinue any further purchases and use of the product.
I suspect I shall not be the only one.
