OP curlyguit Enthusiast C Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 94 Wien	Hello! I'm use a PC with windows 7 and for Audiocard M-Audio Audiophile 2496. Now I have the problem that Band in Box Version 2010 means it have problems to use this driver and close. The same by Real Band, maybe someone can help me. Thanks a lot Greatings Curly

John Conley Veteran Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 8,333 London, Ontario, Canada	I found this on the M audio site: So he's using the Vista 64 bit driver. Audiophile 2496 working on Windows 7 RC 64-bit I got this working no problems at all ... I downloaded the vista 64 SP1 exe file (Delta_V64_5.10.00.5069v3.exe) & ran it. I got the usual "not compatible" statement from M-Audio, got "kicked-out" then I chose the option given by Windows 7 to re-try with recommended settings. I did this, the software installed, the system shut down, as requested, I restarted it, then went into control panel & chose "hardware & Sounds", then "manage audio devices". I then chose "Line 1/2" right-clicked on it & set it as my default device ... job done ! So simple & no issues. I wish you all many happy hours of sound processing. As I wrote before with MME everything is fine, just when I want to use ASIO Band in Box means "Find problems" and close the program. The same by Realband. But as I saw, I installed the right driver for my Soundcard Windows 7 with 32 BIT. Maybe its only that I have to press one button in the program of the Soundcard that everything works fine. But what? Visit the Audio selection window by going to Opts -> MIDI/Audio... and hitting the Audio Settings button just above the Help button. Select the ASIO drivers from the dropdown at top right. A new window should open, click to highlight the actual M-Audio ASIO drivers. There is a check box there, "ASIO Always On" -- on my XP system, I have that checked (and I use an AP 2496 on that system and it runs just fine, but with XP, my drivers are older than the ones you report).
