I wish for BIAB to include the ability for Users to map Keyboard shortcuts to BIAB functions. Imagine the power of this option.

With thousands of users, BIAB has a very wide diverse user base.
All of these users have experience, tool sets and setups that they have grown into for efficiency.

Increasing BIAB customization will increase the stickiness of the application in user minds. You grow more attached to the tool when you have customized it for your environment.

Many of BIAB features cannot be reached with any keyboard strokes. An example are the Solo buttons in the mixer. But really there are hundreds more.

Visually impaired users will benefit from mapping Keyboard shortcuts.

As a mapper example I suggest the application Transcribe! by Seventh String software
Quote:
from the Transcribe help ... Internally, Transcribe! has over 400 commands which are used to control its operation. These commands are normally triggered by you selecting an item from a menu or pressing a button on the toolbar, but you can also access these commands as shortcuts from the keyboard, from MIDI, from Pedals, and also by putting them into a "Script" file for automation.
