Salve a tutti,
sto smanettando per cercare di capire come strutturare un brano come da spartito ma non ci riesco,
mi sembra anche che la procedura non sia chiara devo dire e vengon fuori pasticci...
Allora il brano dovrebbe essere strutturato così con questa successione:
- intro di 4 misure (piano solo o batteria sola o altro)
- tema principale composto da 16 misure da ripetere 2 volte
- improvvisazione 16 misure ripetute 6 volte diciamo per esempio
- ritorno al tema principale da ripetere due volte MA la seconda volta da suonare fino alla misura 15
- dalla misura 15 si salta alle misure del finale

Ciao, sarebbe enciclopedico spiegarti qui tutti i passaggi necessari, preferisco darti il link ad una Playlist su YouTube: Video Manuali Band-in-a-BoxÈ una raccolta di Video manuali creati per aiutare nell'utilizzo di Band-in-a-Box. Quando decisi di non pubblicarne più (a causa di una grave perdita di udito) la cancellai dal web, poi alcuni amici insistettero perché la ripubblicassi, non so se possa essere ancora utile a qualcuno, per quei video utilizzai versioni di BiaB per Windows dalla 2004 alla 2014. Forse contengono informazioni e suggerimenti che ti possono essere utili anche se stai utilizzando l'ultimissima versione del programma. In realtà le differenze sono principalmente grafiche, e molte delle schede del software che contengono funzioni alle quali accenno nei Video, oggi offrono impostazioni aggiuntive che possono solo migliorare quanto spiegato da me in questi vecchi Video. Se sei ancora in difficoltà posso inviarti un file di BiaB con un arrangiamento basato sulle informazioni che hai inserito nel Post.
Dovresti solo sostituire gli accordi con quelli che servono a te!

Ciao Seranto e molte grazie per i suggerimenti e l'aiuto!
Sono riuscito a far eseguire dei loop di parte del brano usando solo la funzione "ripetizione"
sia per il tema principale (con ripetizione X2) che per l'improvvisazione a seguire (con ripetizione X4)
poi, sempre a seguire e scrivendolo di nuovo, il tema principale (con ripetizione X2)
Dopo le ripetizioni dell'improvvisazione, prima di rientrare subito col tema, avrei voluto aggiungere un giro di assolo di un altro strumento:
scelta la realtrack Solista, messa in mute per il resto del brano, fatta suonare al momento giusto ma...
sorpresa... lo spazio è finito!!! non c'è più posto per altro perchè c'è un limite di 255 misure...
Ho letto che questo limite è presente sin dalle primissime release del programma pertanto lo considero un grossissimo punto a sfavore...
Le funzioni rallenta il tempo, impostazioni misura, accordo, sfuma le misure finali, creare coda quelle sono riuscito a farle funzionare mentre DC, DS ecc proprio non riesco a capirli, troppo strane nella procedure e a mio avviso abbastanza difformi da ciò che si può leggere in una partitura in tal senso per cui non ho insisto più di tanto...
Il tempo già è poco sia per suonare che per creare la base, se poi mi devo arrovellare ore e ore a capire certi passaggi inspiegabilmente contorti...
Sarei felice di poter visionare una tua song per vedere come hai fatto con il conteggio dei ritornelli, ripetizioni DC, DS ecc
Ti scrivo in PM così ti invio anche il brano che ho fatto io usando solo le ripetizioni, niente ritornelli o altro

Ciao, effettivamente il limite delle misure può risultare antipatico! Comunque nelle rare occasioni in cui mi sono imbattuto in questo ostacolo ho aggirato il problema preparando più file di BiaB, quindi li ho salvati in tracce audio separate che poi ho ricongiunto all'interno di un multisequencer. Questo link sarà attivo per 7 giorni a partire da oggi (non preoccuparti per l'indirizzo web strano!): Esempio Hard Rock. Si tratta del file che avevo fatto basandomi sulle tue indicazioni all'inizio del Post. Ho utilizzato la versione 2021 ma ho verificato e funziona anche con versioni meno recenti, al massimo ti segnala un errore in riferimento a RealTracks non trovate, ecc. Ti sarà utile lo stesso però per vedere come ho impostato l'arrangiamento. Non è l'unico modo, si può fare anche diversamente ma io sono affezionato a questo modo di lavorare! Spero possa esserti utile, intanto in privato ti invio anche il mio indirizzo email, così se lo ritieni opportuno puoi scrivermi allegando il tuo file. Sergio

Chiedo scusa a tutti ma il mio precedente intervento su questo Post conteneva un'involontaria imprecisione da distrazione: è vero che esiste un limite alla quantità di misure, ma solo all'interno di un unico Chorus!
Combinando bene la quantità dei Chorus con un'Introduzione, un Finale, una Coda o delle Ripetizioni il limite può diventare insignificante!

Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass.
