Hello Dan,
Your song has a lovely melody and is sung very good (although your pronouncation of 'Savior' can be improved; I couldn't hear what you sang).
But I liked how the song was build up. Especially how you performed when that very nice transposing came in. I think it was at 1/3 before the end of the song.
I am not at all religious, but that doesn't mean I can't like beutiful songs and vocals. And that's what is going on here!
That update is very well done, but I haven't heard the original song...

Dan, great groove, great vocal, and mix but the lyrics took it over the top for me. Outstanding!
This should be on all Christian radio stations right now!

Beautiful song well performed.
I'm in the camp with Birchwood.
For those who have religious furfure, I'm sure it hits a more meaningful note.
That doesn't mean I can't appreciate a good song.
Love the vocals.

I think you hit the nail right on the head, definitely has shades of Marty Robbins. Really good, smooth vocals. The band you chose works well too. Thanks for posting, I enjoyed the listen!
