Chantelle - PG Music PG Music Staff Joined: Oct 2020 Posts: 836	A simple way to make a custom Real Style is to first manually load all of the RealTracks/RealDrums you wish to have into your song. This is done in the RealTracks Picker. To open the RealTracks Picker, click on any track in your mixer window. Then in the menu go to Select RealTracks \| Select RealTracks. Choose your RealTracks then click the Close button to load it into the Mixer. https://youtu.be/nbf9P496sy0 After you have loaded all of the RealTracks you wish to be in your custom Style into the Mixer, open the RealTracks Picker again. Inside of this window, there is a Save Style button. This will save the current Style with the RealTracks that are currently loaded in the Mixer. With an accurate reference you at least have a puncher's chance. Pipeline Veteran P Joined: Feb 2015 Posts: 7,954	You can even create an Instrument as a RealDrum: Flute Classical Pop Soloist 12 Key Maj/m Scale 70-140bpm So the Variations choice in the "RealDrum" are just the one of the Maj min keys to generate in. It will pick randomly out of the txt file the next bar to play so you are not getting the same phrase all the time, it will play one style in A and one in B. My intention was to twofold 1. learn about RealDrum configuration * I think that I understand this now and how BIAB works with the A&B Drum array of Bars to generate tracks * Along the way I learned that the download templates are out of date and reported here. 2. Create a stripped down RealDrum. Something quite basic, even as simple as the metronome but with a softened Real kick drum. Not Midi. It might sound like POOf, poof, Poof, poof * I can see how to do this now using RealBand as an Audio Editor and the Txt file to describe the array of Bars. I haven't done it though, yet. Roy (I will be posting another topic to ask about the Txt file to Pattern editor connection. I think it is best to have distinct thread for topics)
