Hi Dan,
There never was a "Tone" CC for the mIDi synths, but there are the Reverb and the Chorus. Most all MIDI synths of GM standard respond to these two controls, even softsynths.
Anyway, both controls have been moved, you can find the MIDI Reverb and MIDi Chorus inside Prefs->Channels now and use them to adjust that for your ketron songs.
