Eureka: I have found it!

I've figured out how to use a Korg nanoKontrol ($60 US) and Bome's Midi Translator (<$90 US) to send keystrokes to Band in a Box so that I can raise and lower the volume of individual tracks in real time. It's kind of kludgey in that I can only get increments by 5, but should be good enough for me in live use. Since Band in a Box didn't assign control codes for Reverb, I'm going to have to resort to mouse actions sent from the Midi Translator to get a similar effect.

I'm now working on sending Start/Stop/Record/Loop Commands for the Korg and hope to have those finished by the end of the week. I'd be glad to share the solution with anyone who posts back. I will post a detailed solution in the next few weeks. It should work with any controller that has assignable, buttons, sliders and knobs.

Thanks,
Bill
