It depends how it might be done. I do not want master faders to be to lose ability to control actual volume.
It is a good idea to be able to automate volume, but it has to be through envelope. Meaning, if envelope is enabled, you can "use" sliders to automate volume in live scenario and record to that envelope, but should be able to enable/disable that envelope as you see fit. Perhaps "midi learn" too on envelope for external controller?
